Geographe Outrigger Canoe Racing Club Inc was formed in 1997 by a small group of passionate paddlers wanting to enjoy the fun and team spirit of outrigging. A sport steeped in tradition, Geographe Outriggers endeavours to pass on the joy and traditions of outrigging to all those that choose to participate in this amazing sport.
If you want to get fit and generally have fun on the water or if your passion is competition, we have you covered. Geographe Outriggers competes in events and regatta’s involving marathons and sprints throughout both the Summer Series and the Winter series in the WAZA Zone.
Geographe Outriggers participates in juniors, men’s, women’s and mixed categories throughout the paddling season. See our events page for more about upcoming outrigging regattas and social events.
Outrigger canoeing is about fitness, teamwork and enjoyment on the ocean. With clubs in Perth, Mandurah, Rockingham, Pinjarra, Bunbury and here in Busselton, there is always plenty of healthy competition.
Our club also has several long boat paddles throughout the year including Bunbury to Busselton and Busselton to Meelup Beach for those who love a challenge. There is certainly something for everyone!
